How long will it take for my items to be done?If it is a simple alterations it takes upwards of 2 to 6 weeks. We will contact you as soon as your items are done at your earliest convivence if we get things done earlier.

Why are there pins still in my dress?The alteration process requires multiple steps some of which require the pins to remain in your dress during your fitting. If your dress has lace that needs to be sewn on the pins remain in as a place marker.

How many appointments can I expect?Wedding gown fittings can run any where between 2-4 appointments depending on the extent of your alterations. More may be needed. Other formalwear items such as bridesmaid or mother of the bride gowns range anywhere from 2-3 also depending upon the extent of the alterations.

Do you work on vintage items?Both seamstresses have decades of experience working on all manner of gowns and have been able to customize and rework vintage bridal gowns and garments many times. This includes making veils, incorporating lace into your gown, or even remaking your mother's dress into something new!

Can I get my dress or item pressed?Yes, we offer ironing and pressing services as well on any item as well at your request for an additional charge.

How long will my fitting last?Fittings truly depend on how much needs to be done to your garment. They can range anywhere from 15 minutes to an Hour.

Are consultations available?Regardless of the item, we want to help you achieve the look you want. We are willing to answer any question regarding your items and strive to answer any question your have regarding your items and the outcome you desire.

What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?We ask that you bring the shoes as well as the undergarments you plan on wearing with your gown. Please remember your shoes because we will be unable to hem your gown without them.

What payment methods do you accept?We accept all forms of payment such as Cash, Check, and all credit forms including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and we accept Apple Pay

How far in advance should I bring my dress in?For wedding dresses, we'd like 6 - 8 weeks minimum. However, keep in mind that the popular dates fill up fast. For this reason, we recommend contacting us asap to secure your space with our seamstress. For other garments, such as Bridesmaid or Mother of the Bride Gowns, we ask for 8-10 weeks turnaround time. We do recommend setting up an appointment sooner rather than later.

When do I pay?We only require you to pay whenever you pick up your items.
